AMC Movies will broadcast the thriller action film “Blast” on April 18th at 9 PM. The film is set in a confined space and aims to create a high-pressure and intense viewing experience.

Directed by Van Aphanny, who won the Best Director award at the UK’s GRIMMFEST, this film combines action and psychological thriller elements, testing the characters’ decision-making and reactions under pressure through extreme situations.

The story is set in a Paris parking lot, where the protagonist, Sonia, and her children are trapped inside their car and discover a proximity bomb planted underneath. If the device isn’t deactivated within the time limit, it will explode, affecting the entire building. Sonia, a bomb disposal expert with extensive experience, faces unprecedented psychological pressure with her family’s lives at stake.

As the countdown closes, the arriving support team must defuse the bomb within 30 minutes while simultaneously tracking down the mastermind behind it. The interplay between the rescue operation outside the vehicle and the tense atmosphere inside keeps the plot building tension and creates a strong sense of time pressure.

“30 Minutes to Shock” is produced by the team that worked on “Lucy”, “Anna” and “Speed Kill”, and demonstrates a mature level of skill in action scenes and pacing.

Overall, the film amplifies the sense of crisis and emotional tension through the limitations of space and time, bringing a viewing experience that is both entertaining and oppressive.
