新竹市東前街一間銀樓今（27）日上午驚傳搶案，一名男子佯裝顧客進店後，趁店員不注意伸手搶走約一兩重的金飾，隨即跳上車往台68線竹東方向逃逸。警方獲報後立即展開追緝，沒想到休假在外的竹東派出所所長恰巧發現可疑車輛，機警通報支援線上警力圍捕。詳細偷竊動機仍待警方進一步釐清。
