花蓮縣政府今（17）日下午發布緊急災防警訊，指出台8線靳珩隧道西口（約175.5公里處）發生大規模邊坡崩坍，土石滑落造成立霧溪河道受阻，形成堰塞湖。縣府預估，今晚6點至10點間堰塞湖水位可能上升並溢流，恐波及台8線175.5公里附近路段，提醒民眾務必遠離太魯閣山區，避免進入危險區域。
