內灣老街每到假日吸引眾多遊客到此一遊，但是周邊的道路也因此一到假日就是塞塞塞，現在針對120線永豐橋到內灣大橋路段，將進行道路拓寬到16公尺雙向四車道。
除了內灣老街周邊道路的拓寬，橫山鄉長也期待從油羅溪大橋沿堤防新建的新闢道路能早日完成。
這段拓寬工程將有1.21公里，路幅由10~12公尺拓寬到16公尺，劃設雙向四車道來改善當地交通。
