高雄市茄萣區興達電廠今（9）日晚間發生火警，當時燃氣新2號機正在進行試運轉測試，疑似因天然氣洩漏引發火勢，電廠人員第一時間通報消防單位趕往現場，所幸並未造成人員傷亡。
據悉，燃燒位置在二廠管線內的天然氣管線，並未波及鄰近儲槽設施，現場目測已無明顯火光。
目前火警已完全撲滅，電廠人員均安全無虞，確切起火原因仍有待後續調查釐清。
